 OSU Electron Microprobe Course

GEOL5263, Electron Microprobe Analysis is a lab-oriented practical course for future operators of the Oklahoma State University JEOL 733 electron microprobe. The goal of this course is to provide hands-on training for those interested in using the electron microprobe and to familiarize the operator with the basic principles of X-ray microanalysis. By the end of the course, the student should be able to operate the electron microprobe efficiently and independently. Enrollment is limited to 8 students per semester.
