My former graduate student, Cenk Ozerdem, is now at Virginia Tech pursuing his PhD. My current student, Courteney Baker, is studying metamorphic rocks in the Menderes Massif in Western Turkey and is funded by the National Science Foundation. |

I have been striving to provide external funding for my research. The stipend for a half-time assistantship currently pays $8932.50 per academic year. We can also work together to try to obtain funding if you match well with my research interests. |
