Introduction:

 

I hail from a south Indian city called Coimbatore famous for its textile, pump and motor industries. It is also known as the Manchester of south India (Textile city). My hobbies include listening to music, playing cricket, creating flash animations and maintaining websites.

Current Research / Projects:

 

Project Title: Freight Movement Model for Regional USA and Oklahoma

Involves the development of a Freight Movement Model (FMM) for various commodities transported through various modes (Air, Water, Road and Rail) for regional US. The project is funded and developed for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Oklahoma Transportation Center (OTC) and CELDi in collaboration with University of Oklahoma, Norman. The deliverable includes the implementation of decision support system software that will help people in making economically feasible strategic and long-term decisions.
