Staff Awards and Recognition Program

The Staff Advisory Council annually sponsors the Staff Awards and Recognition Program.

The event is a time for the University to celebrate the contributions of staff and to recognize those that have been chosen as Distinguished Award recipients for the year. All members of the University family are encouraged to attend Staff Awards and Recognition Program and to recognize the efforts of the approximately 4,000 staff members employed at Oklahoma State University.

Distinguished Staff Award

Outstanding members of the OSU staff are annually recognized with the Distinguished Staff Award. The award recognizes individuals for going above and beyond their normal job duties and contributing to the University community. Nomination forms are distributed to all staff and an ad hoc selection committee carefully reviews and screens the applicants using a predetermined guideline. The committee then conducts interviews with the finalist and selects winners from the applicant pool.

Staff Appreciation Day

The Staff Advisory Council would like to invite you to the annual Staff Picnic. The Picnic is a time for Staff to gather and relax with friends and the University family. Please join us in saying thank you to the many hard working men and women that make up the OSU staff.
