HOW TO APPLY TO THE OSU UPWARD BOUND MATH AND SCIENCE CENTER

• You are eligible to apply to the OSU Upward Bound Math and Science Center if you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior in Cushing High School, Drumright High School, Frontier High School, Glencoe High School, Morrison High School, Perkins-Tryon Junior high High, Perkins-Tryon High School, Stillwater Junior High School or Stillwater High School and have at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

• See your school counselor for the application materials or contact us at our office.

• The application form is also available on-line (does not include postage-paid return envelopes).

When applying for acceptance in the program, please make sure you include everything listed below.

You are required to request one nomination from your school counselor or your math or science teacher. Please ask your counselor or teacher to fill out the form and return it to the OSU Upward Bound Math & Science Center office. Do not wait for the nomination form before mailing your application.

We will begin reviewing applications and accepting students into the program on March 1, 2004.

Applicants will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will send you a letter to tell you if you will be in the program. Please note that participants are required to participate in the OSU Upward Bound Math & Science Center Summer Academy from June 6 through July 16, 2004.
